When a consultant uses the tool to pressure-test a client recommendation, the model -- now calibrated to that consultant's viewpoint -- returns analysis that validates rather than challenges the recommendation. The consultant experiences this as the tool confirming their reasoning; what has actually happened is that a system with a documented 71% sycophancy rate for extended Claude interactions has generated authoritative-sounding agreement.
