Alumni Map

You have all survived the struggles -- and celebrated the occasional wins -- of taking my courses, so who better to connect with than each other? Use this map to find and reconnect with classmates who truly understand what you have been through. Add -- and update -- where you are (and a way to reach you, if you would like), and make it easy for your fellow classmates to say hello. This map is just for my past, present, and future students -- our little thriving community across time and space.

Instructions: It is fast and simple to add --  and update --  your info

(i) Click HERE to open the map on your laptop/desktop (It does not work on mobile!), then click on 'Log in' on the top right-hand side of your screen. Log in with your Gmail account details.

(ii) Find and click on 'EDIT', next to 'SHARE' on the left-hand side of your screen. Now play around with the map: it is very intuitive! 

(iii) Add where you are and/or where you come from and/or where you work and/or any hidden gem or tip in the Search Box and click Enter. Click on 'Add layer' → the three dots next to 'Untitled layer' → 'Rename this layer' → in 'Edit layer name' add your first, last name, and course (e.g. ENST 0842 Fall 2025; EDUC 0823 Kids in Crisis; RMI 2501 Financial Planning) → Save. Fantastic: you’re an immortal now!  P.S. Please add your full name and course/semester so I know you were indeed one of my students! Impostors, keep out!

(iii) Now select only the box next to your name; keep all other boxes with others’ names deselected. Now you may click “+ Add to map” at the bottom left in the search result you did in (ii). The location you have just added should appear under your name (your layer). If not, repeat the steps in (iii) and ensure only your name is selected. Exciting: you are an immortal with a real life now!

(iv) Now that you know how to add your location under your name, feel free to play with it. It is very easy to add your contact information by clicking on 'edit', (do not forget to 'save' it!), delete what you have just added, add YouTube links, customize it, etc.  Amazing: you are now multiplying your immortality!

(v) Try to keep your info updated so other classmates can easily find and reconnect with you.

(vi) Final note: Keep this map as our little secret as anyone can edit this map, meaning it can be easily vandalized and all the information lost in the blink of an eye. Buah! We are no longer immortals!
