Why does the same generative AI tool give some people brilliance and others noise? In this piece I use Einstein as a guide to explain four building blocks of how generative AI works: capacity, entropy, conditioning and judgement. Understanding them helps students and professionals move past 'Was this AI-generated?' and start asking better questions of the tools they use.
